Telco War(prepaid) Round 2

yes yes, i know i've been lazy and didn't update my blog for a long time...

previously i have a blog entry is about telco prepaid war as well, now we have some updates from some of them, lets cut the crap and start the comparison.

Apparently there's no updates from Celcom UOX and also Maxis Hotlink Youth Club, so i guess i won't post anything bout it for the moment.

This time, DiGi had improved their D'Campus plan. Their old plan allowed users to enjoy special rate only within campus area, but normal rate when off campus area.
Now they changed it to nationwide rate, regardless within or off campus area, user get to enjoy the special rate as long as they are on D'Campus plan.
Cut the crap, lets look at the rates

as we can see, D'campus call rate is almost flat rate to any telco(except for any hidden call rate like different region and etc that they didn't mention). But wait, its free for digi to digi calls when users' total daily usage exceeded RM2(counter is calculated from 12am-12am, usage will be resetted every 12am).

SMS rate is about the same with their competitor, 1cent to DiGi, 6cents to others, but they offer free sms to 11 Friends & Family numbers, couples will definitely like this :p

DiGi actually changed their D'Campus rate for quite some time already, but they don't allow existing DiGi users to convert to D'Campus plan not in their centre nor specialise store. In order to enjoy D'Campus rate, its either we need to purchase a new D'Campus simpack, or do the conversion during their roadshows in uni or college.
But now, existing DiGi users are allow to convert their plan to D'Campus at DiGi centre and selected DiGi Service Counters. Bear in mind this is only for a limited time from 3 August 2009 up to 31 October 2009. Click here to check for DiGi Centre and here for DiGi Service Counters.

so DiGi users, save your money now by converting to D'Campus plan, especially to those couples who are still using normal plan :p
